Kabin - Lightweight Kit House for the Great Outdoors

Kabin Utilizes ultra-lightweight sandwich panels used in modular refrigerated cold rooms and transforms them into a small kit house that can be assembled by just two people without building construction experience.

Each Structurally Insulated Panel (SIP) is designed to slot and clip into place using cam locks to ensure weather and air seal  tightness. The roof and floor SIPs are prefinished with waterproof outer layer and stained OSB inner layer. The mezzanine floor SIPs brace the frame and support the lightweight aluminum frame.

Add insulated rainwater collection tanks under the floor, rooftop solar, an electric toilet, a wood-fired stove, a hand held shower tap, and a portable induction cooktop, you have the essentials for living off grid, reducing your ecological footprint.
